About Me
I grew up and lived in Bluebell for 26 years and now reside in Drimnagh. I was educated locally attending the Assumption Primary School in Walkinstown and Drimnagh Castle CBS at both primary and secondary levels. After graduating, I attended UCD, where I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and a Postgraduate degree in Business. I have been involved in a number of local clubs and organisations including playing for Belgrave F.C. and as a member of the 91st Bluebell/Inchicore Scout Troop. Sports are a great passion of mine and I have been actively involved in the community teaching children martial arts in Crumlin for the past 8 years.
My family has lived in the Dublin South Central area for over 100 years with two generations of my ancestors working in Jameson Distillery while living in Winetavern Street, and my grandparents lived on Cooley Road in Drimnagh for almost 60 years. I am privileged to represent this area, and I will always fight for the best outcome for our community.
In May 2014, I was honoured to be elected as a Dublin City Councillor for the Ballyfermot-Drimnagh Ward, representing the communities of Ballyfermot, Bluebell, Chapelizod, Crumlin, Drimnagh, Inchicore, Kilmainham, Park West and Walkinstown.
In the upcoming General Election you will have the opportunity to elect 4 TDs to represent the South Central Area which comprises Dublin 6/W, 8, 10, 12 and 20. I believe that our community needs new and fresh independent representation in Leinster House. My experience as a hardworking, policy-driven City Councillor is visible in my track record of work, some of which can be accessed on this website. I look forward to meeting you on the campaign trail and I respectfully ask for your No. 1 vote.
